Go-Karting at Mansell Raceway

A star in a reasonably priced kart

Tozers LLP hosted an event at Mansell Raceway, Dunkeswell, between 3pm and 5pm on 30 May 2012 to mark the arrival of James Orpin, our new head of corporate. James was formula 6 champion in 1987 and he set a target fastest lap at 3pm. Guests then had 10 minutes in a kart to beat his time.

Food and drink was served trackside during the afternoon, after which the drivers who secured the 8 fastest lap times then went head to head, racing for Tozers' coveted bottle of champagne. Unfortunately, James' past experience served him well and he came out as the winner. However, he was more than happy to award the champagne to the fastest guest, who was not far behind.
