Mark Williams qualified in 1991 and since 1994 has worked exclusively on family law cases. Mark acts for clients when divorcing or separating and dealing with financial settlements. Mark's particular expertise is in Children cases. He acts for parents and other family members on a wide range of disputes, whether contact and residence, adoption or special guardianship. Mark has a significant interest in acting for grandparents who are often the forgotten victims of a relationship breakdown.
 
Mark is an accredited Resolution specialist in advocacy in Children cases and is highly regarded for undertaking cases from start to conclusion, thereby ensuring consistency and reducing costs to clients.
 
Mark is also a member of the Law Society Children panel which ensures he brings a specialist expertise when dealing with cases involving children and social services. Mark frequently acts for children, parents and others when dealing with emotionally charged situations in care proceedings. Mark has been on the Panel for over 15 years thus ensuring an experienced and skilled hand is brought to bear when dealing with these complex cases.
 
As well as being an accredited specialist in domestic abuse services, Mark is recognised as providing focused and determined support to victims of domestic abuse.
 
Having worked and lived in South Devon since the early 1990s, Mark is familiar with local practice and services which supplement the legal knowledge he is able to provide.
