Jason Hobday is a Partner with our housing litigation team specialising in housing law, landlord and tenant law and anti-social behaviour law.  Jason has acted for a large number of local, regional and national, private and social landlords on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters ranging from:

• anti-social behaviour injunctions, ASBOs, family intervention tenancies, parenting contracts/ orders
• claims for possession against tenants, trespassers and former tenants holding over
• advising on and drafting tenancy agreements, licences, leases, notices, deeds, terms of demotion and policies and procedures
• demotion claims
• leasehold and tenancy management issues
• common law injunctions for access, repairs, condition of property and unauthorised pets.
• trespass and interim possession order
• cases involving defendants found to be protected parties where need for Litigation Friend (usually OFSOL) required
• costs negotiations and detailed assessment
• judicial review and appeals.

As a confident advocate, Jason has extensive experience of attending at many different County Courts to present applications and claims in judges' chambers and open court.  He has also provided in-house training to a number of Local Authority and Housing Association clients on all aspects of housing and ASB law, as well as presenting legal updates at a number of housing and ASB conferences and seminar workshops.
