Training contracts are overseen by a partner with special responsibility for trainees within the firm. We consider on a case by case basis with requests from trainee legal executives to attend formal external courses on day release financed by the firm. All trainee solicitors cover at least 3 and often 4 major areas of law and if there is an area in which they ultimately wish to specialise, they may return to that for their final six months.
Our trainees receive day to day supervision from a designated partner who appraises the experience gained and progress made. Trainee solicitors attend the professional skills course which is organised and financed by the firm.
We have a vacancy for two trainee solicitors to commence training contracts in 2009.
