Local solicitor appointed to Clinical Negligence Panel

Specialist medical negligence associate solicitor, Clair Hemming, has been appointed to the Solicitors Regulation Authority's prestigious Clinical Negligence Panel, which is an accreditation scheme for lawyers who have demonstrated their experience and knowledge in handling the delicate complexities of clinical negligence law.

Partner in Tozers LLP clinical negligence team, and fellow Panel member, Tim Dyde, said he was delighted that Clair had been recognised in this way: "I am very proud to announce that Clair has achieved this distinction, having fulfilled the intensive assessment programme which is required.

"The SRA sets rigorous standards and we are now in the position of having three members on the Clinical Negligence Panel.  This endorses both our reputation as one of the strongest medical negligence teams in the South West and our commitment to continue to offer the best possible representation for our clients both locally and nationally."

Tozers, which has offices in Exeter, Teignmouth, Newton Abbot, and Plymouth, specialises in claims for birth injuries and has recovered substantial damages on behalf of clients with cerebral palsy and Erb's palsy, including a settlement of £4.1million earlier this year for a client with cerebral palsy.
