Haulfryn Group, a leading operator of holiday parks, spent £1/2m on the first stage of upgrading the facilities at their site in Praa Sands, Cornwall.
The extensive new facilities necessitated seeking a new premises licence and the application was opposed by more than 100 residents of the village, most of whom attended the adhering with their local councillor. Our licensing expert Graham Bond did very well to obtain a new premises' licence in the teeth of such huge opposition.
