North Devon Homes, local councillors, street champions, the Children’s Summer Club and the Police worked together on Thursday 3rd June to help clean up Frankmarsh and Gorwell.

The action day was linked with the Tidy our Town event, which takes place in Barnstaple from 7th – 12th June. Activities that took place on the day included litter picking, painting, hedge cutting and cleaning signs. North Devon Homes provided two skips for the day.
North Devon Homes’ Exeter solicitors, Tozers LLP, supported the day and went along to get their hands dirty. The Action Day was also registered as part of the Big Tidy Up, a keep Britain tidy campaign.
Simon Sanger-Anderson, head of social housing at Tozers, commented: “Six members of our staff volunteered to help with the clean up at Frankmarsh and Gorwell – litter really affects the general feel of a neighbourhood. We take great pride in working for our Social Housing clients like North Devon Homes and it is great to be able to help out in such a practical way.”
