Endurance Arthur, Partner in the clinical negligence team at Tozers LLP is assisting the families of 3 children who are seeking compensation after suffering severe brain damage following heart surgery at the BRI commented:
‘This is a tragic case with echoes of the BRI where staff shortages and a unit which in the words of Sir Ian Kennedy was “simply not up to the task” has resulted in deaths and suffering which may have been avoided. It will be interesting to see the final report following the Kennedy review at Oxford’
