It is extremely satisfying for Imogen and her parents that the hospital has admitted negligence in this matter and has apologised for the error that led to Imogen contracting the Group B strep virus. Fortunately Imogen has made a full recovery from this horrendous infection and the compensation she has received will compensate her for the pain and suffering she endured. Group B Strep is a devastating virus and can led to brain damage and even death when contracted by infants during childbirth."
