His 22 years at the helm of RHS Rosemoor has been a wonderful journey, taking the original 8 acres increasing it to 65 acres and is now considered to be the Wisley of the West. Chris continues to inspire and enthuse the many hundred of visitors to Rosemoor and those who have heard his lectures. His obvious enthusiasm and wide gardening interests should make for a very enjoyable afternoon."

Chris studied and worked at Kew Gardens as Supervisor in the Tropical Section before managing the Eric Young Orchid Foundation on Jersey. In 1988 he became the curator of Rosemoor before leaving in October 2010.
