Hereweareagain wins the Tozers solicitors Intermediate race at the South Devon Hunt Ideford Arch Point to Point

Devon solicitors, Tozers LLP, sponsored the Intermediate Race at the South Devon Hunt Club’s Point to Point at Ideford Arch, Chudleigh on Saturday 28 May 2011.

Over 50 guests joined lawyers from Tozers for hospitality in their marquee and one of their clients, Catherine Look of Oaktree Parks, presented winning jockey, Will Biddick, with his prize. Championship contenders, Will Biddick and Philip York, had a busy afternoon at Ideford Arch as they chased Richard Burton’s lead in the title race. Biddick scored twice during the afternoon; convincingly on Hereweareagain and also on King’s Wood. However, York won the last race of the afternoon on Benefit Time so by the end of the day he was in second place in the championship title with Biddick one point behind him in third.

Hereweareagain, an 8 year old bay gelding, is owned by Mandy and Reg Hand and he won the Tozers solicitors intermediate race by six lengths at the Ideford Arch Point to Point.

Jill Headford (partner and head of Tozers’ equestrian team), Vernon Clarke (partner) and Anneli Jones (solicitor) of Tozers’ Agricultural and Landed Estates team were also in the paddock to present the owners of Hereweareagain with their prize. Vernon Clarke, head of agriculture and landed estates, comments: “We have received excellent feedback from our guests who joined us at the Point to Point not least because the South Devon Hunt put on an excellent day of racing and were very proficient in their catering arrangements. I am also pleased to say I backed Hereweareagain!”
