Lawyers raise over £2,000 for Rowcroft Hospice in a week

Tozers LLP raised over £2,000 for Rowcroft Hospice in a week. During Make a Will week which ran from 23rd – 27th May 2011, lawyers at Tozers in Teignmouth, Newton Abbot and Exeter gave their time free of charge to update or write Wills, in return for a donation to the Hospice.

Tozers also took part in Rowcroft's Make a Will week in 2010 and have now raised over £4,500 for the Hospice .

Over £10,000 per day is needed to fund the hospice's specialist care to local people living with life-threatening illnesses and two thirds of funding comes from donations. Every donation received as part of 'Make a Will week' helps.

Ted Foulkes of Tozers says: "We are delighted to have been able to support our local hospice again and would like to thank, on Rowcroft's behalf, all our of clients who made donations this year". In Britain today, approximately one in three individuals dies intestate (without making a Will), and the Crown swallows £25million every year in unclaimed estates. After major life changes such as getting married, moving house, having a baby or getting divorced, it is important to ensure you have an up-to-date Will.
