Two trainee legal executives will be rowing the length of a marathon in aid of a cancer charity.

Olly Thorne, above left, and Tim Davies will each be rowing 26.2 miles on Friday, July 1 to raise funds for the Devon charity FORCE, who are supporting those affected by cancer.

Olly, 29, lives in Bideford, but grew up in Torrington and was a student at North Devon College. He also rows for Appledore Gig Club and plays for Torrington Rugby Club.

Tim, 25, lives in Barnstaple after his family relocated from Hampshire to Ilfracombe in 2002.

The charity which has been funding research and equipment for 23 years is this year's nominated charity at Tozers in Exeter where the men work.
