Solicitors at Devon law firm, Tozers LLP, are celebrating after being listed in the Legal Experts 2011 directory. First published in 2001, this publication has, for over a decade, provided a snapshot of over 12,000 leading lawyers across many disciplines.Richard King, head of charities at Tozers LLP, is the only solicitor in Exeter to be listed as an expert in charities. Furthermore, Richard is one of only two acknowledged charity experts south west of Bristol, according to the recently published directory.
Tracy Lambert, head of family at Tozers LLP, is one of only three solicitors in Exeter cited as experts in the field of family law. Graham Bond, Tozers' chairman, comments: "I am delighted that my fellow partners Richard King and Tracy Lambert have been singled out as experts for their work with charities and in the field of family law respectively. They both lead teams which have recently expanded and, in the last month, Richard and his team gave a very successful seminar on Charitable Incorporated Organisations at Reed Hall, Exeter University's conference centre whilst, in the same week, Tozers' family law team supported a discussion on Shared Residence in the University's business school which was attended by over 50 local family law practitioners including judges, barristers, solicitors, social workers and CAFCASS officers."
In 2010, Tozers attained, yet again, the status of a first class firm for family law and the 2010 Legal 500 says: "Tracy Lambert, an expert in Children Act cases, heads the five-partner team at Tozers LLP. Graham Bond is recommended as a collaborative lawyer." The Legal 500 2011 will be published in the Autumn.
Talking of Tozers' charities department, the legal industry 'bible' writes: "Richard King is recommended at Tozers LLP." Richard King adds: "We advise many types of charity. It is good to see that we are once again recognised for our work in this field."
