On Saturday 25 September 2010 at Roadford Lake Watersports Centre, near Okehampton, five lawyers from Exeter law firm, Tozers LLP, will be signing in at 9am for their one-mile open water swim in aid of Hospiscare. Not only has Tozers LLP paid for the five members of its staff to participate in the sponsored swim, but Tozers is also a corporate sponsor of the event at Roadford Lake.
Natalie Bett, Simon Mansfield and Guy Cartwright are all trainee solicitors at Tozers and they are joined by paralegals Michelle Beckett and Rebecca Wyld in their bid to raise money by swimming to help Hospiscare provide specialist care and support for patients at home. This month Tozers’ staff practised their skills on top of the water in canoes for their firm’s summer outing and next month they will be in the water for Hospiscare!
Vernon Clarke, partner and Head of private client at Tozers, comments: “ I am delighted that Tozers is able to support Hospiscare in this event and I am heartened by the fact that so many of our staff were willing to take part in raising money for Hospiscare.”
