This summer the reports of fires on mobile home and holiday parks in Llangollen, Ross on Wye, West Drayton, Redhill in Nottingham, and St Leonards (to name only a few) should make park owners think carefully about the safety of the holiday caravans that they let to customers.
Fire risk on caravan sites is a well-known problem – all those units so close to each other – and site licensing reforms and enforcement has gone some way towards reducing the spread of fire.
