When you come to sell your home Tozers can assist you by creating the Home Information Pack you will need before you can market the property.

So long as we are instructed in the conveyancing, Tozers does not charge a fee for creating the HIP which makes us significantly cheaper than usual HIP providers as the only cost you incur is that of the component parts - a local search, a water and drainage search, an energy performance certificate and official copies of the registers of title and title plan.

For example, for a property in Exeter:

•·          Local search: £73

•·          Water and drainage search: £45

•·          Energy performance certificate: £51.75

•·          Office copies of the register and title plan: £8

•·          Total cost: £177.75

The costs of the local search and the Energy Performance Certificate vary according to area so if you would like a better idea of what it would cost in your area please get in touch.

If Tozers is not instructed on the sale or you withdraw the property from the market a nominal fee is charged.
