The Academy network is hosting a conference to "connect academy professionals together allowing best practice, knowledge and information to be easily shared. The network has been created by practitioners who have experience in supporting the leadership team within Academies and understand the importance of professional networking opportunities in Education."
The theme is "Sharing Excellence Leadership Event".
Richard will be leading a workshop on Academy Governance entitled "I've signed up; what am I in for?" and this will give a concise overview of the legal implications for both directors and business managers of new academies or those that are thinking of converting.

The seminar was very well subscribed with over 100 attending.
