Easy Service

Many clients take advantage of our EASY service, paying an annual all-in fee for open access to the team any day of the week. 

Regular contact with those clients who subscribe to an advice package allows us to get under the skin of the organisation. Our philosophy is as far from the one size fits all approach of most of the packaged employment services on offer as it is possible to get. When we prepare your contracts, policies and procedures, we make sure that they are tailored to the needs of your business - and you would be surprised how different businesses can be on the inside whilst seeming quite similar to outsiders.

Tozers Easy is a genuinely innovative way to deliver cost-effective HR and employment law advice; the fact that it is on a fixed fee retainer works as a positive incentive to take timely advice and by doing so our experience is that in most cases we can help prevent a difficult situation getting out of hand and ending in a tribunal.

Underpinning the service is one of the largest teams of employment lawyers in the South West, which is led by four partners who deal almost exclusively with employment law issues and regularly appear in employment tribunals.

For many of our subscribers we are an outsourced personnel function, often avoiding the need to employ a personnel manager particularly when a full-time employee is not required and a part-timer is hard to find.

Within the scope of the service we will: -

  • advise and guide you in the handling of difficult capability and disciplinary issues, through to dismissal where appropriate
  • check that your contracts of employment support your business objectives
  • advise on the correct interpretation of existing contract terms
  • advise on the application of policies and procedures

In addition to oral advice we will look at and advise on the drafting or implications of incoming or outgoing correspondence or extracts from documents such as contracts and policies or procedures.

You can call us for advice on any employment law issue ranging from something relatively straightforward such as checking holiday entitlement under the Working Time Regulations, to advice on how to handle a complicated disciplinary or capability issue. In that instance we will continue to advise as the problem develops and unlike some helplines, you will always stay with the same lawyer for a specific problem.

Employment law remains a minefield and in these difficult economic times your employees have all the more reason to pursue their claims in court. If you don’t get expert advice at an early stage the likelihood is that you will end up in a tribunal and lose. That’s where we can help.
