Acting almost exclusively for employers, we have a long and successful Tribunal track record with a number of experienced advocates available to represent clients. We rarely use outside counsel. Trusting our expertise and confident in our approach, our clients generally prefer to be represented on the big day by the lawyer they already know and trust and who has conducted the case from the start. When a case really does call for the instruction of counsel, we are always ready to draw on our excellent contacts with specialist employment law chambers, but generally speaking most cases don't.
Our approach is flexible but focussed. We establish the value of any claim as early as possible and set a strategy for dealing with it. The overall commercial outcome for our client is crucial but we are always understanding of non-commercial factors such as regulatory issues, administrative and legal costs and disruption.
Litigation can often be avoided by a determined approach to early settlement by use of Compromise Agreements or through ACAS. If not, you can trust us to see you through the fight.
