Our Environment, Energy and Planning team (DEEP) is the newest and most dynamic team in the country building on the experience and expertise its individuals have obtained over the last thirty years, which will help guide you and/or your business through the complex web of forever-changing and fast-moving legislation that exists and will make sure you don't fall foul of environmental legislation.

We have recently introduced an annual green advisory subscription package  - DEEP GREEN - so you can speak to our environmental lawyers as many times as you like for a fixed fee.  For clients who do not subscribe to DEEP GREEN, we will always discuss alternatives to paying on an hourly basis, including fixed and capped fees and payment by results.

Environmental law is a complex and interlocking body of statutes, common law, treaties, conventions and regulations and policies, which operate to regulate the interaction of humanity and the rest of the biophysical or natural environment, toward the purpose of reducing or minimising the impacts of human activity, both on the natural environment and on humanity itself. Environmental law itself draws from and is influenced by principles of environmentalism, including ecology, conservation, stewardship and responsibility and sustainability.
