The equestrian world has grown very fast over the last ten years! Horse riding has been taken up as a leisure activity by many people with no horsey background at all, while at the other end of the sport, affiliated memberships have increased. Our international teams enjoy continuing success and British sports horse breeders are slowly but surely catching up with the continent.

At the same time, horse owners and especially equestrian businesses are facing a heavier burden of regulation and legislation than ever before. The horse world has its own language and customs and dealing with legal requirements and disputes calls for a proper understanding of them. It demands specialist equine lawyers who can apply the law realistically and sensibly to equestrian issues and have a real grasp on the problems of the equestrian community.

At Tozers we offer a full range of equine related services.

We have a dynamic equestrian team of riders and horse owners and our lead partner in this sector is Jill Headford who is a passionate horsewoman and competes in affiliated show jumping and dressage and hunts, mainly with the South Devon Foxhounds, as often as she can.

We have for a number of years been sponsors of an annual show jumping series at Red Post Show Jumping Club and at Bicton because we believe in putting something back into the sport. For the 2011 season we sponsored the Tozers 1:20m Open Championship Qualifier at Red Post and racing at the South Devon Point to Point in May and in 2012 we sponsored their January Point to Point and enjoyed another great day's racing.  We are pleased to be sponsoring again in 2013.  For further details of these Point to Point races see our Agriculture and Landed Estates Events page.
