Rehabilitation - on the road to recovery

As part of a massive overhaul of the litigation process, one of the main objectives is to identify whether rehabilitation is suitable in your particular circumstances.

Many insurance companies offer rehabilitation once liability has been conceded and any treatment will fall outside of the litigation process by virtue of the rehabilitation code.

Most rehabilitation provided can offer a wide range of treatments to get you back on your feet and on the road to recovery, such as:

  • physiotherapy
  • chiropractic
  • counselling
  • x-rays and MRI scans
  • surgery and aftercare
  • liaising direct with your employer to implement a suitable return to work programme

It is important that you take advantage of rehabilitation and that your lawyers are experienced in dealing with rehabilitation providers.

We advocate that early intervention does pay.

Who will pay for rehabilitation?

Providing liability has been accepted by the opposing party, you can ask them to meet the cost of any recommended treatment.

Alternatively, it may be possible to request an interim payment.  This is a part-payment of any anticipated compensation you may receive.
