Were you a victim of sexual abuse either as a child or an adult?  You may have a claim against the perpetrator and/or a statutory body who may owe you a duty of care.

There are important time restrictions in bringing any claim and it is vital that you contact a specialist as soon as possible, since the courts may exercise discretion in allowing late claims provided you act promptly once you realise your claim will be believed.

We have expertise in dealing with applications to invoke the court's discretion in allowing claims to proceed even though they fall outside of the statutory time limits imposed by the Limitation Act 1980.  In some circumstances we may be able to negotiate an extension of time with the defendant.
