“Injunctions” – Protection from a violent partner

Defending a challenge to a Will

The Family Law Act 1996 provides a framework for protection for individuals who are suffering, or at risk of suffering, harm as a result of another’s behaviour.

Whether you are married, living with a partner or even separated from your spouse or former partner, if you are experiencing harassing or aggressive behaviour then you may wish to consider applying for an Injunction to protect you and any child(ren) of the family.

Sarah Miller, Tozers’ Domestic Abuse specialist, has extensive experience in representing vulnerable parties in applications for Injunctions and has been shortlisted for a number of awards for her commitment to her clients and work in this area.

Sarah worked to set up the Domestic Abuse Response Team (DART) – a service offered by Tozers – and works with many local Domestic Abuse agencies supporting their staff and clients to achieve a safe outcome.
