Quadruple amputee make-up artist brings hope and inspiration to Meningitis sufferers

Tozers’ medical negligence specialist Stuart Bramley notes on the recent story in the BBC:-

“This story and the video accompanying it is absolutely inspiring. What Kaitlyn achieves despite her challenges in life is a lesson to us all. The various injured patients my team and I help who have suffered from meningitis which should have been diagnosed sooner are equally inspiring in different ways, as are their parents since all too many of these individuals are children.  Meningitis and its near-relative meningococcal septicaemia can be devastating and when sufferers do survive, though sadly many do not, there are usually lifelong effects.  I look forward to a time when the early signs are always identified in time and the infection combatted swiftly, so that legal claims to obtain some sort of redress will no longer be necessary”.
