Accelerated Possession – Change in the Claim Form
The claim form to be used for an accelerated possession claim has been amended to reflect the legal changes brought in in 2015. The new form can be found here:
Specifically the new form covers whether:
- The deposit has been protected
- Whether Gas and EPC certificates have been provided to the tenant
- Whether an Improvement Notice has been served against the Landlord.
This is the form to use from now on for all accelerated possession claims – in other words claims following the service of a s21 notice where you are not seeking to recover any money from the tenant.
