Beuvron wins the Tozers Solicitors LLP’s Ladies Open Race at the Mid Devon Blackforest Lodge Point-to-Point

Devon solicitors, Tozers LLP, sponsored The Ladies Open Race at the Mid Devon Hunt Club’s Point-to-Point at , Kenton on Sunday 1 February 2015.

Around 100 guests joined lawyers from Tozers for hospitality in their marquee and watched the 5 year old chestnut gelding, Beuvron, owned by Charles Stanley and trained by Sam Holdsworth. Beuvron’s jockey was 17 year old Hannah Welch who is a sixth form pupil at King’s College Taunton. Jill Headford (equine partner at Tozers) and Vernon Clarke (head of the farms and rural estates team at Tozers) presented the winning jockey and owner with the Silver Challenge Cup and other prizes.

Tozers Solcitors’ partner Vernon Clarke comments: “I gather that Beuvron has already enjoyed success over jumps in France at Paray-Le-Monial, Aix-Les-Bains and Dax and it was fantastic to see Hannah and Beuvron win by 20 lengths in the eight horse Ladies Open Race at the Mid Devon Point to point on Sunday.”
