Working within our Client Service team, you will undertake and process client identification checking and support with client onboarding processes. You will also assist with general administrative duties and support the new business team providing cover as required.

What you’ll be doing

The core responsibilities of this role are to:

  • Complete client identification and onboarding procedures
    • Once provided with matter description, client details, and next steps (considering limitation) from legal teams – CSA to open client/matter on SOS ensuring relevant marketing info recorded + conflict checking where appropriate
    • Undertake online and manual ID checking
    • Undertake Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks on new clients
  • Provide lunch, absence and holiday cover for Reception and ‘New Business’ teams:
    • Deal with incoming telephone calls redirecting caller to appropriate fee earner, branch etc. (Overflow after switchboard + New Business Team)
    • Under the allocation and supervision of the Client Services Executive, assist with New Business Receptionist duties where required
  • Under the allocation and supervision of the Client Services Executive, generally to assist any member of the team with administrative duties

What we’re looking for

An excellent communicator, you will be passionate about delivering excellent client care as well as efficient administrator who can quickly identify where a client enquiry should be directed.  Your telephone skills will be professional and reflect the values of our firm ensuring that every client has the best possible experience from their first point of contact with Tozers. 

Some experience of how a professional services firm works would be an advantage.
