Conveyancing Assistant – New Homes

Residential Property, New Build Homes Team

What you’ll be doing

Our New Homes team works with plot sales for housebuilders; purchases of newbuild properties for individual clients and is on the panel of recommended solicitors for regional and national developers so you will need to be a confident communicator. 

Your standard responsibilities will include opening, closing and archiving client files, using the firm’s IT systems and packages, proof reading, dealing with emailed or telephone client enquires, document production and assisting lawyers generally with administrative responsibilities. 

What we’re looking for

We welcome applications from all backgrounds, this may be your first step into working within a law firm or you may have previous experience in dealing with property transactions.

You will be confident in communicating with our clients and, under our lawyers’ direction, will be comfortable ensuring that clients have the information they need if our lawyers are engaged elsewhere. 

What you’ll have

You will be very well organised and will enjoy organising others.  You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude and will be happy to adapt to the requirements of the tasks facing you.  Ideally you will be able to demonstrate your problem-solving skills and how you have used these in your previous positions.
