Our busy and dynamic Social Housing Management Team works on a wide variety of mainly contentious matters.  The team acts for a wide range of housing associations from small, rural providers to large regional ones.  They continue to grow the client base at pace and due to their success, they now require a solicitor or lawyer experienced in housing management work or alternatively general litigation with an interest in housing management.

What you’ll be doing

You will be working with the team’s clients on possession claims, injunction claims, defending disrepair and leasehold disputes as well as dealing with boundary and property disputes and undertaking advocacy.

What we’re looking for

You will be a litigation lawyer with experience in contentious landlord and tenant work or similar practice areas.  You will also be confident, outgoing and keen to contribute to marketing and business development activities as well as very well organised, have a ‘can-do’ attitude and an ability to work closely with team members including supervising and mentoring junior members of the team. Locums considered.

What you’ll have

Ideally, you will be able to hit the ground running with a background in housing management or contentious residential landlord and tenant work, but we welcome applications from candidates from any contentious background including civil litigation, criminal or general litigation.
