Our busy Wealth Management team are seeking a solicitor or FILEx to join our team in delivering excellent service to our local client base. 

The role will involve management of a caseload combining work within probate, estate administration, Wills and powers of attorney.   

Based at our Exeter office, you will be joining a supportive and energetic team which is evolving its approach to client work to allow you and your fellow team members to focus on areas where your skills are most needed.

What you’ll be doing

You will be working to provide clients with effective, pragmatic and accurate solutions to the problems they are faced with.

You will be undertaking estate the administration of both taxable and non-taxable estates having obtained a Grant.  Lasting Powers of Attorney and Wills will form a part of your caseload and will allow you to develop and maintain strong relations with our client base. 

Managing a mixed caseload, you will be able to delegate effectively.

What we’re looking for

You will be a qualified solicitor or legal executive with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE.  You will be able to demonstrate strong billing performances and will have a commercial approach to the work you undertake.

What you’ll have

You will have good IT skills and, preferably, will be familiar with the use of SOS and/or Isokon. 

You will have a strong client focus and will be an excellent communicator, offering clear and concise advice to your clients. 

You will have the ability to run your own caseload confidently. 

You will be comfortable promoting yourself, the team and the firm and will be happy to become engaged in marketing or business development activities when required.
