We are recognised in the Legal 500 and Chambers UK legal directories in a number of fields including our Social Housing practice.
What you’ll be doing
Your role as part of our busy Social Housing property team will include a broad range of matters such as plot sales ( leaseholds and freeholds and shared ownership leases), right to buys and right to acquire, staircasings of shared ownerships, extension of shared ownership leases and individual sales and acquisitions. Ideally you will also have experience of site set up, s.38, s.104, s.106 agreements, easements and Help to Buy and some experience of drafting or be familiar with the model shared ownership leases. You will be capable of running your own caseload without supervision.
What we’re looking for
You will need to be an effective communicator ensuring that all clients have the information they need. As well as being comfortable working collaboratively, you will also be able to work independently, at all times ensuring that the clients’ needs are paramount. A can do attitude is essential.
What you’ll have
You will have good communication skills and be very well organised with an ability to work closely with team members. You will also have particularly strong client facing and communication skills and be able to build good supportive relationships with clients.
You will be willing to support other more junior members of the team.
You will ideally have some knowledge of social housing property work or a genuine interest in it.
