Changes in Wales

The Residential Property Tribunal Procedures and Fees (Wales) Regulations 2016 came into force on 23 November 2016.

The Regulations apply to proceedings in Residential Property Tribunals (RPT) to determine applications in respect of premises, including residential mobile home parks, in Wales.

Amongst other changes affecting residential mobile home parks, the Regulations now provide that an application to determine a question arising under the Mobile Homes (Wales) Act 2013 cannot relate to more than 20 pitches or mobile homes.

Park owners in Wales also need to be aware that the fees for certain applications made to the Tribunal under the 2013 Act have changed. Full details of the changes can be found here.
