Tozers are once again headline sponsors of the Exeter City Community Trust 2024 running calendar! The next event to take place is the Exeter Marathon & 5 Mile Event on Sunday 12th May.

The Community 5 Mile:

The Exeter City Community Trust always like to encourage as many participants as possible for their events and to be able to cater for all abilities. This 5 mile run is designed for flourishing runners and also younger runners.

The route will take you along the Exeter Quayside, through the scenic Riverside Valley Park and back to the finish line at Haven Banks.

The race starts at 9.00am and they welcome runners from age 15+.

Exeter Live Better Marathon:

Exeter City Community Trust have designed this course so it is suitable for those competing for the first time as well as seasoned runners looking for a personal best.

The event runs along a great, traffic-free, flat route along the footpath and cycle track of the River Exe and Exeter Canal.

The race starts at and is open to runners aged 18 and over. The maximum time permitted for completing the distance is six hours, and there will be timed cut-off points along the route for runners unable to maintain the minimum expected pace.

Runners will get their very own Marathon medal and finishers’ t-shirt!

The funds achieved from 2023 running calendar meant that the Trust was able to help support people in a range of activities across their education, participation, well-being and inclusion departments. Every day of the week the Trust is out there in the community come rain or shine and we're delighted to be able to support their work.
