After a two year break due to COVID, Pilton Green Man Day is expected to return on July 16th. Green Man Day is a celebration which takes place in July with a play in which the Green Man (an ancient pagan fertility figure), meets the Prior and is subsequently incorporated into the Christian church. The day involves lots of parading, eating and drinking fun. Be sure to check out our Tozers' advert in their programme!
