Exeter law firm acclaimed in legal directory

Tozers Solicitors LLP will be recognised in the legal directory Chambers 2016 (when it is published in the autumn) for providing legal advice to charities, social housing associations and to people who have clinical negligence claims.

Richard King, Stephen Burtchaell, Endurance Arthur and Stuart Bramley – all partners at Tozers – are listed as Leaders in their fields by the latest edition of this UK guide. The firm has been ranked for its work advising charities across the country; whilst the social housing team has been recognised in the South West region and Tozers’ clinical negligence team is key in Exeter and the surrounding area.

Last year Chambers recognised Richard King as a notable practitioner for Charities because his ”`level-headedness, clear and calm advice and professionalism’ make him a go-to adviser for numerous third-sector clients. He continues to advise clients…on issues spanning incorporations, constitutions and commercial property.”

Chambers 2015 said: “The `incredibly knowledgeable’ Stephen Burtchaell of Tozers LLP works predominantly on property matters for social housing clients, such as site acquisitions and funding agreements and he was also ranked as a notable practitioner for Social housing.

Chambers & Partners 2015 wrote of Tozers’ notable clinical negligence practitioners:

Endurance Arthur is known by barristers and solicitors alike as a `good, conscientious lawyer’ who is also ‘very able and diligent’.”

Stuart Bramley is particularly strong in fatal and inquest cases. He has significant prior experience in advising defendants.”

Paul Kelly, managing partner at Tozers, comments: “Many congratulations to my colleagues for their inclusion yet again as Leaders in their field in this most recent edition of Chambers UK and it is gratifying to see how well we are viewed by our clients and peers for our work in the niche areas of charities, social housing and clinical negligence.”
