Five qualify as solicitors at Tozers
Devon law firm, Tozers Solicitors LLP, is celebrating after four of its trainees qualified as solicitors this month and one of its legal executives was admitted as a solicitor last month, having cross qualified from a legal executive to a solicitor.
Reflecting the firm’s continued growth and success, Tozers’ trainees Dan Griffin, Harriet Grimes, Sarah Hansford and Rachael Morley have taken up positions in the firm’s Litigation & Employment, Commercial Property, Residential Property and Wealth Management teams respectively. Michelle Beckett, who has worked as a legal executive in Tozers’ Clinical Negligence team since 2009, was admitted as a solicitor last month and continues to work in the field of claimant medical negligence for the firm.
Training Principal and Tozers’ Partner Barry Hayes comments: “Not only is this a great achievement for the five individuals concerned but also for us as a firm. We are very committed to the development of the next generation of solicitors and we invest much time in our trainees. In a firm the size of ours, it might well be that only one or two trainees qualify at a time so to have such a large cohort this year is indeed a testament to the strength of our recruitment process and ongoing training. Furthermore, our two most recent partner appointments trained with Tozers which demonstrates how we continue to develop our staff once they have qualified.”
