In the bleak midwinter
The Health and Safety Executive has produced guidance for employers who have staff who may be working outdoors in cold conditions. The guidance explains the steps employers should take to ensure that staff are supported through cold weather conditions.This guidance will be important to park owners, particularly those that employ staff on the park during the colder winter months and who may be working outside for prolonged periods. Park owners should make sure that where they do have staff who will be working outdoors during these colder periods that they have appropriate personal protective equipment such as warm clothing, and are encouraged to drink warm fluids.
