Liberal Democrats – The 2015 General Election – The possible changes for Employment Law

In the penultimate week of analysing the four main political parties, we look at the Liberal Democrats who have pledged to;

  • Ensure that all recruitment in the public sector would be anonymous, in order to prevent discrimination;
  • Consult on how to deal with employers who try to avoid any new restrictions on zero hours contracts;
  • Create a single national minimum wage for 16 to 17-year-olds in work and first year of apprentices; and
  • Allow fathers an additional four weeks’ paternity leaveNext week it’s the turn of UKIP.
