The Mobile Homes (Site Rules) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2014

With effect from 19 December 2014 paragraph 10(3) of the Mobile Homes (Site Rules) (England) Regulations 2014 (“the Regulations”) was amended by the Mobile Homes (Site Rules) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2014 (“The Amended Regulations”).

Before the amended regulations came into force on 19 December 2014 a homeowner who made an application to the tribunal to appeal the park rules was required under Regulation 10(3) to provide the park owner with notice that the application had been made to the tribunal and a copy of the application within 21 days of their having received the consultation response document.

Since 19 December homeowners are no longer obliged to send park owners a copy of the application they have submitted to the tribunal.  They are now only required to provide the park owner with written notice of the application within the 21 day period.
