Chloë has worked with Tozers for three years, becoming a Graduate Member of Cilex in 2016.

Chloë advises on all aspects of family law including divorce, Change of Name Deeds, private law Children Act proceedings to include complex finding of fact hearings where sexual abuse and domestic abuse are alleged. She specialises in obtaining protective orders for victims of domestic abuse such as non-molestation orders, occupation orders and transfer of tenancy orders. Chloë is able to access legal aid for those clients that qualify and is a member of our Domestic Abuse Response Team (DART).

Recent work examples:

  • Securing a Female Genital Mutilation Protection Order where it had been feared that a young child was at risk of the same.
  • Securing the return of a young child to the mother’s care following an attempted abduction by the child’s father. Proceeding to obtain safeguarding orders to ensure the safety of the child in the mother’s care.
  • Acting for a mother securing findings of psychological and emotional abuse towards both her and her daughter from her ex-husband.

Chloë is a member of the Sexual Violence, Domestic Violence and Abuse Forum for South Hams, Teignbridge, West Devon & Dartmoor.
