If you believe you have suffered an injury as a result of medical treatment, there are complaints systems operated by all hospitals and GP surgeries. Your complaint will be investigated by the hospital or GP and you should receive an explanation as to what they feel happened to you. You may also get an apology. However, if you need monetary compensation this is unlikely to be provided and you will need to consider making a legal claim.
