Making a Claim
Making a Claim
We understand that the prospect of bringing a claim for medical negligence can be very daunting and you may find it difficult to talk about your experience. Using our specialist knowledge and experience we will help guide you and support you through the process every step of the way.
If you believe you have suffered an injury as a result of medical treatment, there are complaints systems operated by all hospitals and GP surgeries. Dentists and other healthcare professionals are also likely to have their own complaints system. We can advise you on making a complaint under these systems and help you through the process.
Your complaint will be investigated by the hospital or GP and you should receive an explanation as to what they feel happened to you. You may also get an apology. However, if you need monetary compensation this is unlikely to be provided and you will need to consider making a legal claim.
If you think you might wish to take matters further then we can help. When you contact our team of experienced medical negligence lawyers, we will discuss your claim with you and carefully go through all of the options available to you in clear terms. We pride ourselves on being able to give clear advice so that you feel fully informed about your choices. We have vast experience of working with clients and winning cases and will guide you through each stage of your claim with sensitivity and understanding.
