The planning team regularly advise on and conduct planning appeals for clients where an application has been refused by the Local Planning Authority.
Appeals are made to the Planning Inspectorate and are determined by an Inspector who is appointed by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government. Appeals can be determined under three different procedures: written representations; a hearing; or a public inquiry. We ensure our clients understand the process and keep them fully involved as the appeal progresses.
