Appropriate Form of Notice

Appropriate Form of Notice

We can advise you on what sort of notice is best to serve to achieve vacant possession.

For example, if there are tenancy deposit problems which cannot be fixed and the tenant has rent arrears, we might advise you to serve a Notice of Seeking Possession rather than a Notice Requiring Possession and then apply to court using the standard procedure.

Alternatively, you may have a tenant who is has complained about disrepair to the property and has been withholding rent, we may advise you to service a Notice Requiring Possession and then apply to court using the accelerated procedure. We will be mindful, in our advice, about retaliatory evictions.

What clients say

I regularly recommend Tozers to colleagues both in and out of the sector I work in.
