Enforcing Tenancy Terms

Enforcing Tenancy Terms

Short of evicting a tenant, we can help to enforce the terms of the tenancy agreement.

This is particularly useful where you have a sitting tenant (i.e. a tenant with an assured or Rent Act tenancy) and a claim for possession would be expensive.

For example, if you require access to inspect the property as you suspect a tenant is breach the terms of the tenancy and the tenant is refusing access, we can send a formal warning letter and, if that does not work, apply for a court order to compel the tenant to grant access and provide for a forced entry if necessary. These injunctions are fairly easy and quick to obtain where the landlord has a good case.

I regularly recommend Tozers to colleagues both in and out of the sector I work in.
