Park Homes Site Rules

After 3 February 2015 your residential park rules will cease to exist unless you implement a new set of park rules in accordance with the Mobile Homes (Site Rules) (England) Regulations 2014 (“the Regulations”).

The regulations set new criteria which all park rules must meet to be valid. If your park rules do not meet the criteria they will not be valid.

The regulations also set a new consultation process which must be followed to introduce a new set of park rules. If you do not start the consultation process by 1 October 2014 you are at risk of not implementing your new park rules in time for 3 February 2015 deadline.

We can help you with this process. We are offering a free audit of your park rules where we will confirm in writing whether your park rules meet the requirements of the regulations and provide you with a fixed fee for the redraft. We will also provide you with a second fixed fee to guide you through the consultation process.

Whilst every effort will be made to assist you, it is unlikely that there will be sufficient time to meet the statutory deadlines if rule proposals are sent to us after 15 September 2014.  After that we will continue to help park owners but you will face a challenge to complete the procedure in time.

You must act now or risk losing your park rules.

To access your free park rule audit send your prepared rules to rulesreview@tozers.co.uk or call Tozers on 01392 207465.
