Helen joined Tozers in 2019 as a Paralegal in the specialist Affordable Housing team. She works closely with social housing organisations in order to best understand and resolve any problematic situations they encounter. Working closely with Sarah Schooling, Jennifer Lloyd, Megan Andrews and Vincent Davis, Helen provides support focused on advising clients on housing management matters, often assisting to draft claims and witness statements.
Helen graduated from the University of Exeter (2019) with a First-Class Law (LLB) Degree and was awarded an additional Commendation from the Dean of the University for exceptional performance.
Managing her varied caseload to strict Court deadlines, Helen ensures that clients are well informed and up-to-date with progress.
Outside of work, Helen is an active member of the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS), where, in her spare time she is involved with taking books to elderly members of the community and providing companionship to those who are lonely.
Passionate about supporting local community, Helen has become the sole RVS volunteer for Barton Place Nursing Home; providing and reading books to patients who suffer with dementia. This project is centred around stimulation of the mind, which in turn should enable patients to better recall significant memories from their lives.
