Leah Joyner

“My aim is to provide comprehensive yet concise advice, in helping clients to understand their legal position and achieving their desired outcome. I strive to be approachable and understanding, building a relationship of trust with every client I assist.”

Leah is a paralegal working within Tozers’ Affordable Housing team. She supports Sarah Schooling and Jenny Lloyd in their work with public and private sector landlords, specifically focused on Housing Management.

She works with clients to draft witness statements, claim forms for possession and injunction proceedings as well as general housing management letters. Leah also provides housing management advice via the firm’s Housing Advisory Service.

Having developed specialist knowledge in Tozers’ Residential and Holiday Parks team, Leah is able to support both clients and other Tozers’ colleagues with a variety of work. She takes pride in helping clients, either directly or indirectly, to achieve a positive result.

What are debt moratoriums

The 2020 Regulations will apply to most debts accrued before or after 4 May 2021 which include arrears of rent, whether that be due to benefits being used for something other than housing, there is an issue with a tenant’s benefits claim or a temporary reduction in income caused by Covid-19.
