Paralegal

Leah Samson

“My aim is to provide all clients with effective, concise and personable advice. I understand the importance of offering a tailored service that meets your needs while simultaneously ensuring that the process is as seamless and prompt as possible for you.”

Leah is a paralegal working in our Corporate & Commercial team where she works closely with the team and clients to provide support on any corporate and commercial matters.

Her role is very diverse from drafting legal agreements to liaising with clients and assisting them in all stages of the business lifecycle. She also advises on the sales and purchases of businesses or companies, providing guidance on shareholders' agreements and conducting due diligence.

She works alongside James Orpin, but also Amy Laver and James Evans on charity law matters. This includes helping with the formation of new organisations, mergers and acquisitions, incorporations, conversions, general charity governance issues and other commercial agreements.

Leah enjoys providing pragmatic and proactive support to clients throughout every step of the process, assisting clients in a wide range of tasks in a complex area of the law.

She was awarded a First-Class Honours degree in LLB Law at the University of Warwick.

In her spare time Leah likes to keep active, she enjoys exercising, yoga and exploring Devon. When she is not out exploring she is working on her personal research projects and journal articles around topics such as healthcare and intellectual property.
